Thousands of empty properties

Nearly 7500 homes across Gloucestershire are sitting empty and unused, figures obtained by the BBC can reveal.

Despite an apparent housing shortage, these homes are neither lived in by their owners - nor rented out to others. Around a third of them have been empty for six months or more.
