The Conversation Series Gets Listeners Talking
Presenter Kim Chakanetsa takes questions about the World Service series The Conversation. Plus, how a documentary about the human cost of Shea butter made listeners think.
Presenter Rajan Datar speaks to presenter Kim Chakanetsa, whose programme The Conversation has got listeners talking. Listeners were particularly fascinated by a recent edition, which put female engineers Marita Cheng and Nisrine Chartouny in touch to share their experience of working in a male-dominated role. Listeners put their questions to Kim about the role of The Conversation in highlighting the experience of women around the world.
And, a recent documentary on the BBC World Service called Shea Gold confronted listeners with the human cost of gathering this skin enriching product in Ghana's northern regions. The programme got listeners thinking and get in touch with Over to You.
