A Few Decades of Jazz

Some tracks from re-issued albums from the fifties and sixties. Artists include Billy Taylor and Oscar Pettiford.

A mixture of jazz covering some of the small swing groups of the late thirties together with some radio transcriptions from the forties. There's also a track from the newly discovered recordings of the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra from 1966. We then come right up to date with two tracks from Cheshire singer Kevin Hassett.
