A big military operation has started to take back Fallujah; World's first humanitarian summit is taking place in Istanbul; Jose Mourinho expected to join Manchester United.
The Iraqi prime minister has announced the start of a military offensive to drive Islamic State militants out of their stronghold in the city of Fallujah.
The first World Humanitarian Summit organised by the United Nations begins today in Istanbul. Heads of state, aid agencies and others will discuss the financial response to crises and how better to distribute aid.
Jose Mourinho's appointment as the next Manchester United manager in succession to Louis Van Gaal now seems little more than a formality.
