How I’m attacked for being Jewish
Rabbi Arnold Saunders, of the Higher Crumpsall and High Broughton Synagogue in Salford, tells Paddy O’Connell on Radio 4’s Broadcasting House that he is regularly the victim of anti-Semitic incidents.
“I’ve been punched in the face in a completely unprovoked attack outside the synagogue…I’ve had quite a bit of verbal abuse, usually from passing cars where people shout things like ‘Heil Hitler’ or ‘get back to Auschwitz.’” Rabbi Saunders said.
