Ohio Governor John Kasich has dropped out of the presidential race after struggling to gain traction against Republican front-runner Donald Trump. Mr Trump holds a commanding lead and is now the sole candidate from his party.
Could there be new hope for those trying to have a baby who have felt the pain of repeated fertility treatments? A breakthrough by scientists in Britain and the United States may provide just that. They have managed to grow and keep alive an embryo beyond the point they would usually be implanted in the womb.
A court ruling in the South African province of Northern Limpopo has prompted residents to torch 13 schools and other state buildings. It all came about because people believe the redrawing of a new district boundary will mean the provision of public services will worsen.
