Ted Cruz has pulled out of the race for the US presidency after losing the Indiana state primary, opening the way for Donald Trump to become the Republican candidate in November's presidential election.

The Canadian authorities have ordered the evacuation of an entire city of more than 60,000 people which is being engulfed by a huge wildfire.

In Kenya, 5 people have been arrested in connection with the building collapse incident - including the owner and some contractors. Twenty-three people died and more than 90 people are still missing.
