Forestry Commission bans animal welfare group
A wildlife charity is told not to patrol Forestry Commission land looking for injured animals
Tensions are building in the Forest of Dean between a wildlife rescue charity and the Forestry Commission over animals injured in the wild. Volunteers argue animals could be badly injured at night or on weekends when rangers aren't working. But the Forestry Commission says it employs professionally trained staff and doesn't need any more help.
