Now, it may only have 3,200 residents - but there's been some pretty famous ones; the likes of Ellie Goulding, Mike Oldfield - and now this chap!
He's supported people such as DJ Fresh and Dreadzone and played on the Garden Stage at Nozstock.
"A lyricist at heart, with a real dedication and focus on music to get his message across" - Andrew Marston
The Regal, Evesham

But the team at the Port Street venue don't want to be known just for films; they've been playing host to lots of live music lately and want to improve the staging and lighting in the main area.
Acts such as Joan Armatrading, Nigel Kennedy and Evesham's very own The Irony have all played there - with Rick Wakeman visiting later in the year.
26 May - 5 June: The Hay Festival

The Hay Festival now takes place all over the world, but once a year comes back to its spiritual home on the Herefordshire borders.
Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour, Suzanne Vega, Turin Brakes, KT Tunstall & Laura Marling are all on this year's lineup.
This year, BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester will be hosting a number of local acts on the outdoor stage during the first Sunday of the event.

Reviews

It's all very well having lots of venues, and it's great to have tonnes of bands - but it's the role of the promoter to actually put on the gigs.
So just who's cutting it on the local scene?
We've been finding out from Rich Lovell, who runs The Underground Revolution in Herefordshire and Down On The Farm.

BBC Introducing in Ross-on-Wye

The team behind the productions formed nearly 100 years ago at the Corn Exchange, which burned down in 1939.
They then moved to The Roxy Theatre, which closed, and in 1982 moved to their present location at the top of the town.
They extended the facility 20 years later and now host events almost every weekend.
