Treasure QuestEaster Special - Part TwoTreasure Quest - Monday 28th March 2016

The second and final episode our annual two-parter - would Sophie find the treasure?

  • Listeners had been working hard since the end of yesterday's show to try and crack the "overnight clue"
  • The four papers were from the north, east, west and south of the county - the initials of "news"
  • With clues six and seven having been very cleverly solved by the listeners, they led Sophie to Scarning
  • Clue nine was just up the road, at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse Museum
  • It was a wet and windy day today, as the remains of Storm Katie lashed the county
  • Action shot! To earn clue ten in Reepham, Sophie had a challenge to face
  • It was particularly difficult given the conditions
  • Clue ten led to a challenge for David Clayton back in the studio!
  • David's lack of juggling skills eventually earned him clue eleven regardless, which led to Dinosaur Adventure at Lenwade
  • One of our dinosaurs is... upside-down!
  • She's going in!
  • After braving the caves, Sophie claimed the treasure with a minute and a half to spare at the end of an epic two-parter!
  • It was a very special treasure - a copy of Keith Skues's book about the early days of BBC Radio 1, signed by the man himself!
