Taking the train to Broadway
The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway launches appeal to extend the line to Broadway. At the moment, the track falls about a mile short.
Record producer, Pete Waterman, is helping to launch a fundraising appeal of one and a quarter million pounds for the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
As President of the Steam Railway, he wants to see the line finally extending to Broadway, as it did before the infamous Beeching cuts of more than fifty years ago. At the moment, the track falls about a mile short.
