'Entirely wrong' to proceed with disability cuts

The Conservative chair of the health select committee has warned the government against cutting disability benefit while also cutting corporation tax.

Speaking to Mark Mardell, Sarah Wollaston said: "It would be entirely wrong to proceed at this stage. So I think we should stop, review where we are.

"And to bring both those changes at the same time wouldn't command public support and nor would it command the support of the Conservative back benches."
