
China 'Bans North Korean Ships'
China says it is enacting UN sanctions on North Korea; The Queen and Brexit; Firefighter Dog
Our correspondent Robin Brant says that there are reports that China has barred some North Korean ships from entering its ports. Reuters says one was not allowed to berth in a north-eastern port in China several days ago - two other freighters are reported to be sailing away from Chinese ports. Asked if China would implement a complete ban the foreign ministry said it would 'strictly implement' the UN resolutions which require inspections for banned goods.
There is a big row here in the UK between one of Britain's best selling newspapers and the Royal family. Queen Elizabeth's office has taken the unprecedented step of making a formal complaint about a story on the front page of the Sun newspaper, which claimed that Her Majesty was in favour of Britain leaving the European Union. Buckingham Palace insists the Queen is - and always has been - politically neutral. The Editor of The Sun on the other hand says they have proof.
And, finally a dog that was caught in a house fire has survived his injuries against all odds - and landed himself a job as as a firefighter.
