More than 30 firefighters tackle Bacton thatch fire

Fire crews from Elmswell, Ixworth, Stowmarket, Eye and Debenham, along with the units from Bury St Edmunds, and Newmarket, attended a thatch fire at Bacton near Stowmarket last night.
The alarm was raised at 19:03, with crews bringing the blaze under control by 21:02.
Firefighters from Elmswell and Stowmarket returned to the scene on Friday morning, to ensure the area was safe.
