Stanley Johnson tells 5 live's Adrian Goldberg and John Pienaar that his son has "thrown away" a chance to be in David Cameron's Cabinet.
Boris Johnson announced he'll back Brexit, and campaign for Britain to leave the European Union.
Asked if his son has lost a chance of a future cabinet post in the Prime Minister's government, the former Conservative MEP said: "Of course he has. I would have thought completely thrown away".
