Country Leaders Meet in Another Attempt for Syrian Peace Process
Russia, USA & Syrian opposition members meet; Ferguson lawsuit; North Korea disappearance
Today will see yet another attempt to bring an end to the fighting in Syria. Representatives from a number of countries, including Russia and the United States, will meet in Munich. They will try to kick-start what has always been a very fragile peace process.
More problems on the horizon for the city of Ferguson in the United States. In 2014 it was the scene of the shooting of Michael Brown - a black man killed by a white police officer. The city is now facing a federal lawsuit brought by the US Justice Department.
And what has happened to North Korea's Army Chief of Staff Ri Yong-gil? Reports suggest he might have been executed after being found guilty of corruption.
