Actor Jason Watkins: 'Sepsis killed my daughter'
The BAFTA-winning actor Jason Watkins has said that there is still a huge lack of awareness around the illness sepsis.
His two-year-old daughter Maude died of the illness on New Years Day 2011, and in an emotional interview, Jason spoke to BBC Radio 5 live about her and the impact on his family.
His comments followed the release of a report into the death of William Mead, a one-year-old from Cornwall. NHS England said both call handlers and GPs had failed to diagose that William had sepsis.
