"We were never built for this kind of crisis"
Labour MEP Claude Moraes who chairs the European Parliament's Home Affairs Committee is attending a meeting on dispersal of immigrants and believes that “we are now paying the price” for the member states’ “inertia”.
Last September, after months of argument, the EU agreed a plan to share out 160,000 migrants. So far, 331 have been moved.
