Donald Trump wins Palin's backing, call for the UN to help end the FARC rebel uprising in Colombia, debate over Cecil Rhodes legacy
Donald Trump, the Republican front-runner in the race to be US President, has won the backing of the prominent conservative, Sarah Palin.
The Colombian government and the country's largest rebel group, the FARC, are asking the United Nations to oversee the implementation of any ceasefire the two parties agree to end more than fifty years of conflict.
A group called "Rhodes must fall" is demanding that a statue of the 19th century British imperialist and mining magnate, in Oxford , be pulled down.
