'My condition means I vomit up to 15 times an hour'
Sherrie Duggan, from Birmingham, suffers from cyclical vomiting syndrome.
Speaking to 5 live Breakfast's Nicky Campbell, she said her attacks are characterised by "lengthy vomiting and severe nausea" and she can vomit up to fifteen times per hour:
"It's awful and relentless to live with [...] some days getting out of bed is an achievement".
The condition started in August 2014 when Sherrie assumed it was a stomach bug or food poisoning. It has taken 18 months for a proper diagnosis. Sherrie told BBC 5 live she wants to raise awareness about the syndrome so that people know "it's a real thing".
