China's Economy Slows Down Markedly

China growth slows to under 7% per year, Nigerian army accused of killing dozens of Shia sect members, Eagles band founder Glenn Frey dies.

Chinese figures for last year show the world's second largest economy grew by its slowest rate in 25 years. Eyewitnesses have told the BBC that the Nigerian army killed dozens of members of a Shia organisation during a military crackdown last month. The guitarist and songwriter, Glenn Frey - one of the founding members of the band The Eagles - has died at the age of 67.
