Man fined for fly-tipping branches
A man from Bradwell has been prosecuted for dumping hedge trimmings behind a tree, 200m from his home.
Sean Gillings, 33, of Falklands Way, pleaded guilty at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court to the fly-tipping offences. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay costs of more than £250.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council says it has a zero-tolerance approach to fly-tipping, and the same legislation applies whether it's a three-piece suite or green waste.
