Obama on job creation and healthcare reforms; Pakistan blast; South Korea's appeal

In his final State of the Union Address, president Barack Obama said the United States had recovered from the worst economic crisis in generations. He highlighted his record on job creation and healthcare reforms.

Pakistani officials say at least 14 people have been killed in a blast in the south-western city of Quetta. The attack took place at a centre where polio vaccinations are administered.

The South Korean President, Park Geun-Hye, has urged China to help rein in North Korea, following its nuclear test last week.
