Food Aid For Besieged Syrian Town
Food aid for Madaya; More assault complaints in Cologne; Catalonia's independence
The UN says an urgently-needed delivery of food to the besieged Syrian town of Madaya will go ahead on Monday.
More than 500 people have now filed complaints of assault during New Year's celebrations in the German city of Cologne.
The regional assembly in Catalonia has elected a new president. Carles Puigdemont says he will press ahead with plans for secession from Spain.
