British Rock Star David Bowie Dies of Cancer at 69

British rock star, David Bowie has died at the age of 69 following a battle with cancer. He died surrounded by his family.

The World Food Programme has said it is awaiting the last minute go-ahead from warring groups on the ground before starting delivery of foodstuffs to the besieged Syrian town of Madaya where 40,000 people have received no food since October.
