Shearer on Mourinho: I'm shocked but not surprised

Chelsea have sacked manager Jose Mourinho seven months after he led them to the Premier League title.

The 52-year-old Portuguese had been in his second spell at the club, taking charge in June 2013.

Former England striker Alan Shearer said “I have never known a capitulation like it – for them to go from champions to where they are now is just incredible."

"Something drastic has happened at Chelsea over the summer."

"Everyone’s been so poor it’s unbelieveable so from that point of view I’m not surprised," added the Match of the Day pundit.
