Leytonstone stabbings eyewitness saw bottle thrown at attacker
A man who was walking through Leytonstone Underground station when a stabbing took place says "pedestrians threw bottles" at suspected attacker.
A 56-year-old man was left with "serious" stab wounds and another person was injured during the attack. One man was arrested after being tasered by police.
The eyewitness said he saw “pedestrians shouting” at the attacker and another “threw a bottle” - causing police to ask the public to “back off”.
Muhaydin Mire, who is 29 and of Sansom Road, east London, will appear in court later charged with attempted murder.
