Myanmar Prepares Handover to Aung San Suu Kyi

Myanmar's transition; Climate Talks; China's missing businessman

The president of Myanmar, Thein Sein, has named a five-man committee to oversee the handover of power to Aung San Suu Kyi's party following its election victory last month.

Negotiations at the climate change talks in Paris are still underway. The BBC environment analyst says many difficult issues have been partially resolved. But he says differences remain over issues such as compensation for the countries most vulnerable to the effects of global warming.

Trading has been suspended in the shares of one of China's biggest privately-owned conglomerates amid uncertainty over the whereabouts of its chairman. Reports from China say that Guo Guangchang one of the country's wealthiest men and chairman of Fosun Group has been missing since Thursday.
