Afghan Taliban Commander Reportedly Killed In Battle For Sangin

Sangin battle; Nigeria's Boko Haram war; Saudi hospital fire

The Afghan government says an overnight operation in Helmand province has killed a Taliban commander and many militants in the besieged district of Sangin.

The Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari has told the BBC that the army has all but won the war against the militant Islamist group Boko Haram.

More than 20 people have been killed in a fire at a hospital in Saudi Arabia.
