
Australia Grants Visa To Family Of Dying Pakistani Student

The Australian government has granted travel visas to the family of a dying Pakistani student, overturning its initial refusal in the light of a public outcry. They had been denied visas for fear that they'd stay on in Australia.
There's been an explosion at a Turkish airport on the apron where planes are parked. Two cleaners working on a nearby aircraft were injured and taken to hospital. The cause of the blast at the Sabiha Gokcen airport near Istanbul is unclear.
A French terrorism suspect who decapitated his boss and tried to blow up a gas plant last June has been found dead in prison near Paris. The authorities said 35-year-old Yassin Salhi had hanged himself with sheets tied to the bars of his isolation cell.
