
Burundi Forces ‘Committed Systematic Killing’
Burundi killings; Hermione Granger; Hungary intolerance
Amnesty International says that security forces in Burundi “systematically killed” dozens of people during violent repression that took place in the capital Bujumbura on 11 December.
Producers have announced the casting for the new Harry Potter stage show and Hermione Granger will be played by a black actress. While many people are pleased Swaziland-born Noma Dumezweni is taking on the role, others suggest they have a problem with Hermione "changing race".
The Hungarian government has been accused by the United Nations of promoting hatred and intolerance towards migrants. Messages broadcast by the right-wing government- which was recently elected under an anti-migrant banner- are accused of linking migration to terrorism.
