Spanish PM Seeks Coalition Following Elections
Spanish elections; South Sudan rebels; Taliban offensive
The acting prime minister in Spain, Mariano Rajoy, has said he will try to form a new government, after his Popular Party lost its parliamentary majority in Sunday's general election.
Rebel groups will attend talks in Juba, the capital of South Sudan, for the first time in two years.
The centre of another district in the southern Afghan province of Helmand has fallen to the Taliban. The deputy governor of Helmand has complained of a lack of government support in an open letter on Facebook.
