Stampede at Kenyan University
Stampede over drill, Xi Jinping expected in Zimbabwe, Amnesty International shames Qatar.
The Kenyan authorities have begun an investigation after a security drill at a university in the capital Nairobi was mistaken for a real attack, sparking panic. The Chinese president, Xi Jinping, is due to visit Zimbabwe today. A number of agreements are expected to be signed, covering infrastructure, agriculture and transport. Also, the human rights group, Amnesty International, has said Qatar has done almost nothing to end what it calls the chronic exploitation of migrant workers since it was chosen five years ago to host the football World Cup in 2022.
