How does the media shape perceptions of Islam?

The star of BBC One's Citizen Khan, Adil Ray, joins the This Week team to discuss how the media - and particularly comedy - shapes perceptions of Islam.

The actor said the intersection of Muslims with comedy was - in this country - a relatively new thing, and could inspire lots of different reactions. He had, he said, received abuse from "bigots on the far right and bigots on the far left".
