Doping in Athletics

In response to accusations of doping by the commission of the World Anti-Doping Agency, the BBC's Evan Davies heard from general secretary of the All-Russia Athletic Federation, Mikhail Butov.

For two years a small group of Syrian soldiers held out against Islamic State militants at an airbase near Aleppo. Their ordeal now appears to be over, due to a combination of Syrian government forces, Russian airstrikes and Iranian military advisers.
