'Fertility treatment is seen as low-hanging fruit'
Fertility campaigners say they are extremely concerned by recent decisions taken by Mid Essex and North-East Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups to stop offering IVF treatment for women who are struggling to conceive.
Speaking on the Today programme was Dr Amanda Doyle, practising GP and co-chair of NHS Clinical Commissioners, and Sarah Norcross, co-chair of Fertility Fairness campaign group.
