Earthquake in Afghanistan and Pakistan

The morning after a 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan and north-eastern Afghanistan, the BBC's Shaimaa Khalil in Kabul reports on the latest in the affected areas.
The BBC World Service and BBC Africa Facebook pages were home to an extraordinary discussion in the last day on the subject of democracy versus dictatorship. This was prompted by comments made by the US Presidential candidate Donald Trump over the weekend, who suggested that the world would be a better place if Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gadaffi were still in power in Iraq and Libya. We brought together commentators Lina Khatib and Humphrey Hawksley to discuss the comments made by Trump and the arguments made by proponents of each system.
A 28-year-old man, Julius Njogu, claimed second place in Kenya's Nairobi International Marathon on Sunday. However, all was not as it seemed, as his lack of fatigue and sweat did not seem to tally with having just run 42km (26 miles). Officials say that he had run barely one kilometre after emerging from a group of onlookers and joining the leading group of runners just outside the stadium. We speak to sports journalist Elias Makori about the scandal.
