Matthew Fitzpatrick on European win celebrations

Matthew Fitzpatrick celebrated capturing his first European Tour title with a sandwich and a round of golf at his local course.

The 21-year-old from Sheffield secured a two-stroke win at the British Masters after four birdies in seven holes on the back nine. He was Afternoon Edition's Sporting Hero for his efforts over the weekend.

He told Dan Walker and Sarah Brett 'he couldn't have asked for anything better' than having his family and some of his closest friends watching on the 18th green.
