Should Lancaster stay on as England rugby coach?
England coach Stuart Lancaster has been labelled a "miserable failure" by the Sunday Times rugby correspondent, Stephen Jones after the host nation's early exit from the World Cup.
A 33-13 defeat to Australia was England’s second defeat in three matches and Jones believes it’s time for Lancaster’s tenure to come to an end.
“Why are we even talking about the future, because Stuart cannot be in it. He’s been a miserable failure,” he said.
“Let’s not think this is a big shock, some of us were pushing the panic button four years ago.
“He’s never coached anywhere bar Leeds and England. He’s never won anything and experienced different cultures. All the other guys he’s up against have been in all sorts of cultures. Steve Hansen and Warren Gatland have coached two international teams,” he added.
The RFU say they will not act "hastily" over Lancaster’s position, who is under contract until 2020.
