Syria torture victims; Immigration debate; VW recall to begin in January
An exhibition in London has shown a selection from more than 50,000 photographs of victims taken by a man - now known as Caesar - who used to work for the Syrian government. Caesar says they show the brutal work of government forces. The government says the photographs are fakes - but forensic and international law experts say they are authentic.
Theresa May, the British Home Secretary has claimed that high levels of immigration make it "impossible to build a cohesive society". Also, the new chief executive of Volkswagen, Matthias Müller, has warned that the company will have to reconsider all its planned investments, as it struggles to cope with the aftermath of the emissions scandal.
