Young Audiences: What they Want

The BBC Audience insight team recently conducted a survey of around 13, 000 young listeners from around the world to hear what they value most from a news broadcaster. Now, it is the turn of Over To You’s younger listener panel to reveal what they expect the BBC World Service to offer them when they switch on the radio – and what content keeps them listening. Controller Mary Hockaday and Catherine Blizzard, the director of Marketing and Audiences respond to comments on both the BBC’s inclusion of positive stories and its tone of reporting.
