The Man Who Watched His Home Being Burgled

Burglars spotted via smart-phone app; Migrants seek border gaps; Rugby World Cup starts

Danny Wheeler got a message on his smart-phone to tell him his home in New York was being burgled - and was able to watch live pictures of the crime. He is hoping the high quality video will help police catch the criminals.

Croatia has closed seven of its eight border crossings with Serbia as it struggles to cope with thousands of migrants trying to get to northern Europe. Roads leading to the border points have also been closed. Meanwhile, the authorities in Slovenia say they have stopped a train carrying more than 100 migrants and will send them back to Croatia.

The Rugby World Cup kicks off today. The tournament is being held in England and Wales. The first match sees England take on Fiji at Twickenham.
