Andy Burnham: A female leader for Labour 'when time is right'

Labour leadership candidate Andy Burnham told 5 live the Labour party will be ready for a female leader "when the time is right".

5 live presenter Nicky Campbell put the question to Burnham during a Labour leadership debate in Stevenage for BBC Radio 5 live. Labour have never had a female leader, and Burnham is standing alongside Liz Kendall and Yvette Cooper who urged him to "say yes".
