
South Sudan President to Sign Peace Deal

A spokesman for President Salva Kiir of South Sudan has told the BBC he will sign a peace deal with the country's rebels today despite ongoing reservations. Also in the programme: Kenya tops the table at the World Athletics Championships; the US presidential hopeful Donald Trump has clashed with TV anchor Jorge Ramos. He was removed from a news conference after repeatedly trying to ask Mr Trump a question about immigration; and in a major step towards normalising relations, Serbia and Kosovo have signed several key agreements, including one giving Kosovo its own telephone country code for the first time.
