Yaya Toure inspired Manchester City to a dominant 3-0 victory at West Bromwich Albion. A Toure shot deflected off team-mate David Silva and went through a defender before trickling over the line to open the scoring. City extended their lead when Toure curled a shot into the top corner. Vincent Kompany headed in a corner as City delivered an early statement of Premier League title intent.
