Eurozone "deal", Iran deal near, Tanzania's tax crisis
Eurozone leaders holding an emergency summit in Brussels have reached agreement, officials said. "Agreement," said Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel in a one-word tweet. The Cyprus government spokesman tweeted: "Seems we have a deal."
Representatives of six world powers and Iran are hoping to announce later on Monday that they have finally reached a deal on Tehran's nuclear programme. A one hundred page document has been drawn up offering Iran relief from many international sanctions in return for observing strict limits on activities which could help it build a nuclear bomb; an aim Tehran has always denied.
According to the World Bank paying taxes in Tanzania is optional. The country is reported to have one of the lowest tax revenues in the world at only 12% of the country's GDP.
