Tunisia holidaymaker: 'All we could think is, we’re next'

At least 27 people, mostly foreigners, have been killed in an attack on a beach near two tourist hotels in the Tunisian resort town of Sousse, according to the Tunisian interior ministry.
Officials say one gunman has been shot dead and another is being pursued.
Holidaymaker Debbie Horsfall, from Huddersfield, was on the beach in the hotel next door. Her friend “saw a guy with a massive gun” and “everybody just ran”.
“He was next door firing. All we could think is, we’re next,” she said.
Ms Horsfall said she saw a woman in the lobby whose husband “had been shot in the stomach”.
“She didn’t know where he was…she didn’t know where her children were,” she said. “She was breaking down. No one could do anything. She wanted to go to the hotel next door but they wouldn’t let her go”.
Ms Horsfall said her bags were now packed and she was waiting for flights to be put on.
Thomson said it was working closely with its teams in Tunisia to to determine exactly what happened and provide assistance to those affected.
