Cop Suspended Over Pool Party

New police race row in US, Turkey poll stalemate, Ivory Coast crash 0-10

A police officer in Texas has been suspended after video was posted online of his treatment of a group of teenagers, many of whom were black. The officer is seen pulling his gun on two boys, as well as pinning down a 14-year-old girl and pushing her face into the ground.

The Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has urged all political parties to back the AKP's plans to change the constitution despite its failure to win a majority in Sunday's election. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had hoped his party would have enough support to make constitutional changes needed to extend his powers. But the AKP still has the largest share of the vote and Mr Davutoglu said everyone should acknowledge that it had won.

Ivory Coast were beaten 10-0 by tournament favourites Germany in their first ever match in the Women's World Cup finals. But it wasn't the worst ever defeat - Germany beat Argentina 11-0 in 2007.
