Michael Thomas' Story

Michael Thomas lives in Creech St Michael - but was a youngster in Folkestone when VE Day came.

For him, it was a low-key affair - and a day for remembering the soldiers who didn't come home.

He's been sharing his memories with BBC Somerset's James Hanson.
