Mike Charity’s Story

Mike was at a street party in Melrose Place in Hereford where all of the children were wearing Indian feather headdresses. There was a man wearing a huge hat which he had brought back from the Middle East.

Mike remembers jam sandwiches, rock cakes and jelly and blancmange.

He remembers his dad training using a broom instead of a gun.
